Victoria Day 1

OK, so we should have had reservations, but even the BC Ferry lady said it probably wouldn't be so busy ...we only had to wait a hour and we passed the time by listening to the radio and playing  "name that tune"! Heather was amazing, but I think Stog wins for remembering the most lyrics. A panic stricken woman came over to the car window and said 'they have moved my car, it's a little red fiesta and I left it right in row 40" We asked "was it locked" ,she proceeded to get out her car keys and show them to us as if to say do you think I am an idiot. We all got out of the car and told her to press the panic button on her fob and that we would look for her. One press of the button and low an behold the car was in row 39 about 5 cars behind us. She stomped off still muttering - it was moved! So, we are blaming the ferries from the ferry! Bree would understand!
The scenery coming over was awesome. Clear blue water with snow capped mountains for a back drop.

Leaving the mainland

Awesome

Just an ad on the ferry

The route is dotted with big and small islands

We did see a seal when we were docking - but not this one

We meet up with Taylor and went out to dinner, interesting dinner, there was a line up and the people in front of us said last time they were there the line up was three hours long. So 20 minutes did not seem too bad. Trevor told us the best part of the meal was the bread sticks - true. I ordered a gorgonzola ravioli and it was so disgusting I could not eat it. Not only did it taste terrible but it was a washed out lavender colour! YUCK!!  The best part of the meal was Taylors' company and watching them decorate the street for a Christmas movie.

Hallmark movie being filmed in September
