Harrison Hot Springs,Chilliwack

Once again, Jane out did herself and created a huge pan of sticky buns, we are all going to have to walk back to Ontario to compensate for the calories we are ingesting! We got our act together and headed out to Harrison Hot Springs. I know it sounds repetitive but the scenery is just spectacular, I have been this route before but I had forgotten just how majestic the Rockies are. As we approached Harrison we could see snow on top of the mountains, a stark reminder that winter is on its way!
We walked around Harrison and had lunch on a rooftop patio overlooking the lake with the snow capped mountains in the background - picture perfect postcard material.
On the way home we went through a corn on the cob drive through- now why don't they have that in Ontario. They have a drive through for everything else but I have never heard of a drive through corn stand. Believe it or not there was a line up as we left!
We hung out at the cottage for the rest of the evening eating and talking.
It is going to be hard to leave this idyllic location.
